Attending Bengali classes in the period immediately after lunch and trying to stay awake while Mr. Dharmadas Choudhury was battling away trying to make us understand the nuances of Tagore.

While pursuing B. Com took active part in playing cricket for Customs, Hockey for George Telegraphs in the Calcutta League and was selected for the camp for under 19 West Bengal Football Team.
Was one of the prime movers in organising a premier Hindustani Classical Musical Conference once every year from 1969 to 1990 in Kolkata.
Completed my CA in 1977 and since then have been a practicing CA.
Since 2001, I am the honarary treasurer of an NGO by the name of Calcutta Social Project, which is involved in the upliftment of more than 3500 street children, children of unwed mothers and non delinquent children whose parents are either separated or they are out all day trying to earn some money.
I am an avid golfer. Have won many amateur golf tournaments held in Kolkata. Am member of Tollygunge Club and Calcutta Club in Kolkata, India.
My favourite pastimes are listening to Hindustani Classical Music, Playing golf, watching sports channels on TV and socialising.

Last visited school in 2011 with spouse and was even more overwhelmed with what the "padris" are doing for the grooming of the local kids including the girls. Kudos to Fr. James and his merry men.
Was very impressed with the way Fr. James is trying to revive HOXA and bringing the association to its logical "beginnings".
Had a wonderful evening with Fr(s). Herbert and Mcnamara.
Finally must say that the Hazaribagh HOXANs had done a marvellous job of organising a very very memorable Reunion albeit with the most generous and positive support from SXH.
