Pauline and I were deeply saddened to hear that Bhatta (as we fondly knew him) had passed away in early July. It's difficult to take, and believe that in 2010 when we met in Kolkata (on my 60th), it would be our firstand last time together since leaving SXH 43 years ago. Despite his serious medical problem he met with us. Our sincerest condolences go out to Chitra and family. We are thinking of you in your time of sorrow.
The loss of a dear friend and classmate is always hard to bear. We keep you in our prayers, and remember you with much love and affection.
