Another great personality. Jim was an articulate and jovial member of SXH who contributed greatly to the atmosphere around the place. May he rest in peace.

Jim and I became very close friends in the 1980s and it was a treat to sit and hear him read poetry for us and go deep into the meanings of each of these. He was wild in his ways till the very end. His wife, Jyoti, was a superb counterfoil to his dashing ways.
