Aviraj Vikash (1985)

Tirthankar Banerjee joined St. Xavier's ,Hazaribag in the year 1980 i.e in class 5. He was a quiet boy. We were together in class 10th B in 1984-85. He participated regularly in extra-curricular activities. I especially remember the' pygmy dance' that he performed couple of times on stage for the annual function. After passing his class 10th C.B.S.E examination in 1985 ,he joined V.T.I ,Holy Cross to do Diploma in hotel management.The idea itself was revolutionary during that time.He did not join the rat race i.e the usual careers like medical,engineering etc. After earning his diploma he joined the hotel industry in Delhi. He started working at a very young age. Sadly,he also left this world early. But he will forever remain in our memory.
