Abir Goswami, a hoxan of the 1987 batched passed away on May 31st, 2013 of a heart attack. He had acted in several Television serials and a few movies. Hoxans who knew him are invited to post their condolence messages/comments here.
Moving along the memory lanes, can't forget Abir's cheerful face. Ever trying to make others laugh, was his charachter. We were from same Nawabgunj locality, shared our way to school on bicycle, thus shared long time with each other. Every year on Eid, he was a prominant visitor to my house.
Long we couldnt meet after the school, somehow we managed to contact few years back. He told me he doing acting and is in mumbai. Just last week we chatted and planned to meet him, when I visit India.
I would really miss him a lot. Leaving with few misrah of ghazal, which can express my feeling
na Chithi na koi sandesh, Jane Kaun sa Desh, Jahan tum chale gaye.
Is dil pe laga ke thhes jaane woh kaun sa desh. Jahan tum chale gaye
I remember Abir as a humorous guy and who always wanted to make big in life since his school days . we as a batch mates will really miss him a lot . We were to meet in Kolkata on his next visit to the city . The day din't come but the news of his departure came . we are shocked and wish may his soul rest in peace .

Didn't know him. But exactly two weeks ago I lost my brother and today also lost another of his batch mates.
Am deeply saddened by this loss of such a young and talented young man.
May God grant the family strength in this hour of crisis. R I P
