Ajit Singh (1968)

Narendra often offered to take us home in his car during the shorter holidays. We were much junior to him but he would never fail to carry us home to Dhanbad. His father, Mr. Shankar Dayal Singh, was an ex Minister in the Bihar Government and a coal mine owner before nationalization of coal mines in 1972.

Narendra was a very quiet, decent and a loveable human being. His wife, Ranjana, is a doctor in Dhanbad and like Narendra, an eminently likeable human being. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to Ranjana and her family in their hour of grief.

Farewell elder brother - rest in peace. Ajit Singh, Class of 1968.

Devananda Chatterji (1965)

I remember him in class and I think we were in the same dorm room at one stage. We hiked to Sitagarha a few times. When did this happen?
