Heartfelt condolences. His life touched everyone who came into contact with him and memories will continue to guide them.

In the service of Indian education and the Hazaribagh Jesuits from 1951 to 2024 - an awesome record indeed. We owe him a debt of deep gratitude and a prayer of thanksgiving.May his dear soul rest in peace.

A gentler soul I shall probably never again come across in my entire life.
As a 7 - 8 year old fresher seemingly eternally at the mercy of the fiendish Mrs D’Souza in the Junior Dorm, deprived of hot water for an evening bath in the chilly Hazaribagh winter because of a minor infraction, our Dorm In Charge Father Dwyer’s intervention saved our bacon that day in 1960. His soft well modulated voice and his soothing words worked as a salve for young tormented souls. In him I found faith, hope and kindness, the likes of which I have never experienced since.
Looking back, and especially more so after meeting up and conversing with him again after so many years in 2020 during our Golden Jubilee Celebrations, I was awed by the profundity of his wisdom, clarity of thought and utter simplicity. He was, to me, a man who was at peace with himself and his surroundings. His inner glow provided comfort to everyone around him.
I feel proud to have had him as a mentor and he has left an indelible mark in my life, for which I shall remain eternally grateful.
Good night, sweet prince!
May you rest in peace.
