Moved over to our school from Victoria School, Darjeeling. Was an extraordinary player of the Harmonica, and was a permanent fixture at any school gathering. Later on in life became a News Reader in AIR Delhi, subsequently joinedc Gestetner from where he took his VRS. Was a keen student of Violin which he kept on playing till the end. Some other anecdotes: Member of the Behala flying club and had logged some 50 hrs. solo. He also figured in a Bengali Movie "Baksho Badal" featguring with Aparna Sen and Soumitra who were adorning the main roles. A Gourmet to the hilt and a great cook.
