An Urgent Appeal for Help

Dear Hoxans: Amitava Sinha (Class of 1957), needs our urgent help. His wife, Nandita who has Kidney failure and is on Dialysis, urgently needs a Kidney Transplant. Your generous contributions  will go a long way to help Amitava Sinha's family. Please make a donation (small or big) today. First Time Visitors: Access to most  features at this site is restricted to registered members. To register at this site you must be listed in the HOXA database. To see if you are listed, click on "HOXA database" above. If listed, you can click on your name and follow instructions to register.  If not  listed,  you can request listing  by clicking on  "Add Hoxans".

Please note, for graduating years 1995 or later (i.e. after plus 2 was introduced at the school) Hoxans are listed by  the year of expected graduation from class XII. For example if you graduated Xth in 2000 and then moved to another school you will be listed in class of 2002 (not 2000).

Please correct any errors in the spelling of your name during registration. After you have completed the registration process a  site administrator will  verify you. Once verified,(may take 12-24 hrs)  you will receive a welcome email and  will  then have full access to the website. 

Already a registered member? Please use the log-in window on the right to log-in, using your email address and the password you created at the time of initial registration. 

Forgot password? Click on forgot password in the log-in window and enter your email address and your password will be emailed to you.

HOXAns Online  is a website for Hoxans, the alumni of St. Xavier's School, Hazaribag, India. The goal of this website is to facilitate interaction and friendship among Hoxans worldwide and to renew and strengthen the bonds between Hoxans and their alma mater. The HOXA Database, is a compilation in progress; currently 6500 of the possible 12000+ Hoxans are listed, comprising 99% of those who appeared for the school board exams while at SXS. 

New Members: Feel free to to explore the website; there is a lot for you to view and to do.  Update your profile, add a photo or two; use the Hoxa database to look up other Hoxans that have joined; check a fellow Hoxan's profile and leave a comment. View a wonderful video documentary on the school or the various photo albums under Photos/Videos from the menu in the left panel. Communicate with other Hoxans using Message Center, Message Forum, Discussions or Live Chat.  Take a look at the Staff/Teacher section, say hello to a teacher,  browse the Archives (for a collection of old school magazines), or School Newsletters and the In Memory section and a whole lot more.

 

Help us improve this website! Please check your class list in the Hoxa database and let us know if there are  errors or omissions by clicking on Add Hoxans above. Your help is especially needed to list the approximately 6000  Hoxans who attended SXS and left before completion of boards. You are also invited to add photos to your profile or directly into our various albums in the appropriate folders under PHOTOS.

Jan 16- Feb 19th: Our membership is now 935! Multiple classwise Albums & 500+ "official' reunion photos added; can be viewed by clicking on " 2012 Hoxa Reunion" link from left menu panel. Britto Day, Feb 4th, photo album can be viewed under the "Xavier's today" album under PHOTOS/VIDEOS. Check out the wonderful photos added by Manoj Kakkar and Kaushik Kabiraj under the Class of 1980 album under PHOTOS/CLASS PHOTOS.

Jan 3rd- Jan 15th:  Our membership is now upto 765!  Mohan Banerji '63 makes a move to get all  UK HOXANs together! Check out photos added by Shanker Mazumder '76, Larry Rydquist '63 and Ronodeb Paul '72 under Class Photos, Sports & Games, as well as "Fun with Friends.

Dec 23- Jan 2nd: Check out the amazing class photos and sports photos added by Ashish Basu, '73 and Sanjoy Sinha , '75 (ICSE).  Also see the "fun with friends" albums added by Ashish Basu and Ananta Lal '09. (See under PHOTOS/VIDEOS)
